You’re Invited This Easter

You’re Invited This Easter
We’re so glad you’re considering joining us for Easter Mass this year.
You are warmly welcome — whether you come often, occasionally, or for the very first time.
Easter is more than a long weekend.
It is the heart of the Christian faith.
It is the story of Jesus — who gave his life in love, and rose again to bring hope to the world.
Holy Week: The Journey to Easter
Across Holy Week, Catholics gather to remember:
• Palm Sunday — the beginning of the journey
• Holy Thursday — the Last Supper
• Good Friday — the cross
• Easter — new life and resurrection
You are welcome at any of these moments.
Whether you’re exploring faith, returning after time away, or simply curious — there is a place for you.
Finding an Easter Mass Near You
You can easily locate your nearest Catholic parish and view Easter Mass times in a few simple ways:
1️⃣ Search online using Google Maps
Type the name of your town or suburb followed by “Catholic parish”.
This will usually bring up the parish website, where you can find:
- Easter Mass times
- Location and parking details
- Contact information
Google Maps or Apple Maps can also guide you directly to the church.
2️⃣ Use the Catholic Mass Times App
Search “Catholic Mass Times” in your app store.
This app helps you find nearby churches and view Mass times.
(Please note: some parishes may update Easter schedules closer to the day.)
If You Can’t Attend in Person
If you’re unable to leave home or are caring for someone, you can still join in spiritually.
Shine TV will be broadcasting an Easter Mass, which will also be available on demand via their website and app.
Wherever you are this Easter, we hope you feel connected to our Catholic communities.
What to Expect at Mass
If it’s been a long time since you’ve been to church — or this is your very first Mass — please know:
You are so welcome, just as you are.
Mass is a simple but beautiful time of:
- Gathering as a community
- Listening to readings from the Bible
- Reflecting on God’s love
- Offering prayers together
- Receiving a blessing or Holy Communion*
You don’t need to know when to stand, sit, or kneel — simply follow the lead of those around you.
You are welcome to participate as much or as little as you feel comfortable.
There is no dress code.
There are no expectations.
Just come with an open heart. ❤️
*If you’re not Catholic, or unsure what to do during Communion, you are welcome to remain seated or come forward for a simple blessing by crossing your arms over your chest. Our priests are always happy to offer a blessing.
You Belong Here
Easter can stir many emotions — joy, but also grief, uncertainty, or loneliness.
However you are arriving this Easter, please know:
Mass is for everyone. Jesus welcomes you — and so do we.
Our hope is that you feel at home, whether you join us every week or it’s been a long time.
We would be honoured to celebrate with you this Easter.
